Memorial Meet

The Memorial Meet honors past swimmers and parents who have died. All races are 25 meters, and a small per-entry donation to a health related charity of your choice is requested; the meet is a charity event. Parents and Dolphins alumni also swim. Memorial Meet is a really special and fun morning, and all Dolphins families are encouraged to participate.

Warms ups start at 7:20am. Arrive by 7:10am. Face coverings/masks are required by everyone, regardless of vaccination status. You may remove your mask when seated in a socially distanced manner. Swimmers: do not forget to bring a bag labeled with your name for your mask.

The Dolphins’ annual Awards Banquet is held at the pool pavilion, on the Wednesday after Divisionals. Swimmers’ awards (High Points, Most Improved, Hardest-Working, Most Dependable) are presented, graduating seniors and parents are honored, and swimmers and families enjoy a slide show of the season’s highlights. Dinner is catered, though families are asked to bring drinks, salad, fruit or dessert. The cost is $13 per adult and other guests. Registered swimmers and kids under 5 eat free. The last day to RSVP is Monday, 7/15/19. All swimmers who compete successfully in a meet are recognized. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU COMPLETE YOUR PAYMENT TRANSACTION ONLINE.

Set up, decorating and clean up help are needed. Please sign up to bring food or help set up or clean up in the JOB SIGNUP.

We are starting early this week (6pm) so we have time for paper plate awards.

Ice, cold filtered drinking water, and all tableware is provided. In addition to a dish to share, please bring a bottle of juice, lemonade, punch or 2 L soda. Dishes should be in one of these categories: pasta/pizza, salads or fruit/veggie trays, bread or dessert.
