Pasta Party #3

End: 8:00 PM
Swim team is a unique Maryland tradition. Get into MoCo swim team culture mode by coming to the Pasta Party every Friday night at 6:30 pm sharp in the pool pavilion.Socialize with other families, learn important info for the next day's meet, buy gear or spirit wear, ask questions of the coaches, and get the kids pumped up. Oh, and carb load. Bring a pasta dish, pizza, salad, bread, or dessert plus a 2-liter or equivalent of soda, iced tea, or lemonade. Ice, cold filtered drinking water, and all tableware is provided. If you’re available, please consider arriving 20 minutes early to help with set-up. After dinner, parents meet in the pavilion and then clean up and set up the pool for the next day's meet. Swimmers meet with the coaches on the hill. |

Meet to start at 6 pm; warmups between 5 and 6. All events will be relays; see attached for the full line-up. Each event will be a single heat, with each team allowed one entry per event. |

Donald Wade Aquatic Center- 5305 Piney Church Rd, Waldorf, MD 20602 The indoor pool is located inside St. Charles High School Directions from the PMSL Handbook: From Capital Beltway take exit 7B Rt. Turn left onto Mattawoman Beantown Rd./MD-5 for 3 miles. Turn left onto Leonardtown Rd. At Grace Christian Academy, turn right on Billingsley Road. At the next light, turn left onto Piney Church road. In a quarter mile, turn right into St. Charles High School parking lot. The Wade Aquatics center is on the right-hand side of the school building, at the back of the parking lot. |

Dolphin Dash 5K - It's Back!

The SBP Dolphins 5K Is Back! After several years away, a favorite neighborhood tradition is returning! The SBP Dolphins 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk will take place on May 31, 2026. This year’s race celebrates the return of this fun community event while supporting the Strathmore Bel Pre Dolphins Swim Team. Whether you want to run the 5K, walk the 1-mile course with family, or simply cheer on your neighbors, everyone is welcome. Registered participants receive an official event T-shirt while supplies last, and the 5K winner will receive a gift card from Fleet Feet! Follow Rt. 197 N to Old Chapel Rd. at traffic light. Turn R onto Old Chapel, and go 0.4 miles to Whitehall Dr. Turn L, on Whitehall, driveway is first right off Whitehall Drive. |

Even though swimmers eat free, you must RSVP for your swimmer so we have an accurate head count and enough food. We are NOT accepting RSVPs at the event. If you do not RSVP ahead of time, you can attend, but cannot eat. |
